Ph.D. Studies of Biochemistry: 1982 – 1985 at the 3rd Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague. Thesis title: “Biosensor for Lactate Determination”

Associate Professorship: achieved in 1991 at the Medical Faculty of Charles University in Pilsen, as Associate Professor of Biochemistry; dissertation thesis title: “Cell-Based Biosensors in Clinical Biochemistry”

Professorship: achieved at the Medical Faculty of Charles University in Pilsen in 1997, Professor of Clinical Biochemistry
